The project – funded by BBC children in Need and the first of its kind in Scotland – is available to Aberdeen City and Shire’s increasingly diverse population of children and young people. The service is provided for free. If necessary, we can provide Chinese-speaking interpreter for sessions.
The service is provided by a team of professionally trained volunteer counsellors who are members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. They all have training and experience in counselling children and young people.
Counselling sessions normally last for 45 minutes. GREC also offers telephone counselling and online counselling via Skype.
