Pitgaveny is a traditionally built sandstone house set in a large private garden. It was built as a family home in the 1920’s for a Major Brander from Forres and was named after an estate in Forres.
It was designed by the same architect who designed the Stonehaven War Memorial, John Ellis.
Pitgaveny Bed & Breakfast is ideally situated for both the business and leisure traveller, being situated just 15 mles from Aberdeen.
You will be warmly welcomed by Mrs Cheryle Casher who will give you interesting and helpful information about the area.
Whilst Stonehaven boasts it’s own special attractions, it is also the gateway to Royal Deeside and the Cairngorm National Park.
There are 2 double bedrooms and a twin room all ensuite and a single room with shared facilities.
All rooms have a welcome tray with tea ,coffee, TV and DVD players
