Welcome to the 2009 Graduation Ball!
The Graduation Ball this year will take place over 2 nights on
Wednesday July 8th and Thursday July 9th, 2009.
InformationFor each Ball there will be a Champagne Reception at Zeste on the University Campus from 5:30pm. There you will be treated to a glass of bubbly.
Carriages will pick you up from Zeste starting at 6:30 and bring you to the Hilton Treetops.
At the Hilton, you will be treated to a scrumptious 3 course meal on a table of 10 people. We’ve got Scotland’s Number 1 Ceilidh Band, Iron Broo, to perform for you this year so make sure you bring your dancing shoes!
Iron Broo have a reputation as one of the liveliest and fun Ceilidh Bands on the Scottish folk scene. They have played far and wide both at home and abroad and have often been seen at well known festivals such as "T in the Park" and "The Glassel Gig". The band have played in their native North-East of Scotland for quite some time now and have established themselves as a favorite band for many a 'Doric spikker.'
We will also have a DJ to enchant you with good tunes that will help you close the night in style.
TicketsTickets for both Graduation Balls will be available for purchase on Monday April 20th. Ticket sales will be open from 10am – 1pm and ticket prices are £46 each.
Tickets for each night will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. Tickets will be available for collection at the time of purchase. There will be no refunds on any tickets. Once a ticket has been issued, it then becomes the responsibility of the student as no replacement tickets will be issued.
Tickets will remain on sale until they have sold out.
Table PlanTable plans can be made at the time of booking tickets. There will be a sign up sheet in the Students’ Association reception where tickets are being sold. Once a table is full, the sign up sheet will be removed from the book and no changes can be made to it. On the night of the event, all table allocations will be displayed in the Hilton.
